Welcome to my Blog!

Hey everyone :) Right now, I`m sitting in a super nice hotel in Granada, Nicaragua - quite possibly the nicest department in all of Nica. The hotel even has a swim-up bar in the pool! it`s weird to be here since i usually spend so much time in the middle of nowhere around pretty impoverished people. Did you guys know that nica is 4th in the world in terms of distribution of wealth? (in other words, it`s an everyday sight to see brand-new SUV`s and limos cruising by people with no shoes) So why am i currently in the lap of luxury, you might ask? My awesome boyfriend Alex will be taking spanish classes here in Granada for the next 3 months or so, so I`ll be visiting a lot during the weekends and whenever i have free time. Alex has a digital camera (yay!) so i thought it would be a cool idea to create a place where y`all could see pics of what i`ve been up to. I`ll try my best to put up lots of pics, so hopefully you`ll enjoy them! ok, I gotta run - Alex gets out of his first day of class in an hour and i`m going to go with him to meet his new host family.
